How to Vote in the Fleming SAC Elections

SAC Elections Announcement

We’re excited to announce the upcoming SAC elections and want to ensure every student at Fleming understands how to participate in the voting process. This year, with only four candidates qualifying, the voting system has been adjusted to a "yes or no" format. Here's how it works:

What is a 'Yes or No' Vote?

For each candidate, you will have the option to vote either “Yes” or “No.”

1. A "Yes" vote means you support the candidate and believe they should be elected to the board.

2. A "No" vote means you do not support the candidate for election.

How Do I Cast My Vote?

You can vote for each candidate individually:

1. You can vote “Yes” for all candidates.

2. You can vote “No” for all candidates.

3. You can choose “Yes” for some and “No” for others.

4. You can vote for just one candidate if that’s your preference.

How Are the Results Determined?

A candidate will be elected to the board if they receive more “Yes” votes than “No” votes.

Where and When to Vote?

Voting will take place online and will be open on February 19, 2025.

Detailed instructions and reminders will be shared through social media and email, so keep an eye out for updates.

We encourage all students to participate and make their voices heard. Your vote is important in shaping the leadership that represents your needs and interests at Fleming.

If you have any questions about the voting process, feel free to reach out to us at info@flemingsac.ca.
