The media are invited to attend a motivational Q&A with Fred VanVleet and Hosted by Kate Beirness entitled “Bet on Yourself” on Thursday, September 9, 2021 at 7:00 p.m.
The virtual event is organized in partnership with ten other college and university student associations as an Orientation event for returning students. Raptors Guard VanVleet will talk about him going undrafted and taking a chance on himself to not give up on his dream of playing in the NBA and giving back to inner-city kids once he made it. It is an inspiring and motivating talk on overcoming adversity through dedication and hard work.
The event is for registered students but the media are invited to attend through an exclusive link.
