PUB SECURITY (5 Positions)

RATE OF PAY: $10.25/hour

HOURS PER WEEK: 0-24 (depends on class schedule)

Position Details:

Pub Security.

Position Summary:

Must adhere to the Alcohol and Gaming Commission of Ontario, and other applicable municipal, provincial and federal laws and regulations. Assist in maintaining good public relations with customers and fellow co-workers.  Security officers are to monitor the Steele Centre licensed areas and to protect the safety of all of our staff and customers.

Duties:

Monitor all customers in the Steele Centre licensed areas.  Assist with set-up and clean up during the day and on pub nights.  Checking all individuals for valid government issued photo I.D.   Assist in promoting upcoming events at the Steele Centre.  Other duties as assigned that are consistent with the position.

Qualifications:

Fleming Student with post secondary education in security field preferred or a combination of equivalent working experience and education.  Possess analytical, organizational, interpersonal and communication skills.   Ability to handle stressful situations with tact. 

Licenses, Certifications and/or Registration:
 

-->Standard First Aid/CPR Level C preferred

-->Smart Serve required.

-->Security License required.
