Position Details: Pub Security

RATE OF PAY: $10.25/hr

HOURS PER WEEK: 0-24 (depends on class schedule)

Position Summary:

Assist in maintaining good public relations with customers and fellow co-workers.

Security officers are to monitor the Steele Centre licensed areas and to protect the

safety of all of our staff and customers. Must adhere to the Alcohol and Gaming

Commission of Ontario, and other applicable municipal, provincial and federal laws

and regulations.

Duties:

Monitor all customers in the Steele Centre licensed areas. Assist with set-up and clean

up during the day and on pub nights. Checking all individuals for valid government

issued photo I.D. Assist in promoting upcoming events at the Steele Centre. Other duties

as assigned that are consistent with the position.

Qualifcations:

Fleming Student with post secondary education in security field preferred or a combination

of equivalent working experience and education. Possess analytical, organizational,

interpersonal and communication skills. The ability to handle stressful situations with tact.

Must be returning to Fleming in September 2011.

Licenses, Certifcations and/or Registration:

- Standard First Aid/CPR Level C preferred

- Smart Serve

- Security License required.

Position Summary:

Bartenders are to prepare and serve drinks to customers in the Steele Centre and to

inform security of any issues with customers. Must adhere to the Alcohol and Gaming

Commission of Ontario, and other applicable municipal, provincial and federal laws

and regulations.
