Fleming has many different types of clubs and groups on campus. There might be one just right for you.

Local Area Networks(LAN)

Purpose: A club for like minded fans of sci-fi, fantasy, and games to get together and relax, play games and watch movies. Generally to relax with like minded students.

Latin Flavour

Purpose: Show that there is a strong sense of diversity in our school. We will demonstrate this by showing how to cook fast affordable tapas/appetizers, learn or practice Spanish in a fun atmosphere all while learning how to Latin Dance!

Fleming Kings Table Tennis Club

Purpose:To provide a means for table tennis enthusiasts to meet together at least once per week to play table tennis.

Purpose: To provide an atmosphere to promote all things Anime!

Experienced Student Club

Have you been away from the school system for an extended time, or

returning for more training in a different field? We are a group of students that are striving to support the needs of the experienced students. Recognizing the additional stresses that are placed on those students that are trying to readjust to the college environment. So wether it's to join us for a chat and a cup of coffee or help to plan social events come out and see what the Experienced Student Club has to offer.

Best Buddies 

 

Best Buddies is about creating friendships between individuals with intellectual disabilities and students.  Contact between students and individuals with an intellectual disability seldom occur spontaneously.  Best Buddies facilitates friendships by pairing individuals in one-to-one friendships and by organizing group activities.  A Best Buddies friendship helps to break down barriers to inclusion and provides opportunities for shared experience, laughter and support.

Join an active group of students that are out there making a huge difference in their community. Having fun raising funds for those in need. From ball hockey tournaments to BBQ's, the more creative the better.

Friends You Haven’t Met

 

Nervous about meeting people outside of your program? This is a great way to meet new people in a relaxed atmosphere, with plenty of perks, including movie nights, game nights, sports.  Whatever you’re into, FYHM can be that great stress release from your hectic schedule.  Students can meet and stay connected with classmates as well as meet students in the semesters ahead.

Fleming Free Market

 

A Free Market is a place for students and community members to access the daily necessities at no cost.  It is an opportunity to promote reuse while raising awareness of current globalization and environmental concerns.  The Free Market promotes a local partnership creating a sustainable, cyclical movement of reusable goods within the community.

Green Objectives Club

 

The GO club is an SAC initiative that strives to improve environmental health within the college and the Fleming community.  Be a leader in educating the college community on how to reduce their ecological footprint to sustainable levels. Foster environmental justice through our relationships with the college and broader community. Be a vehicle for new ideas and innovation by joining us at Green Objectives.  Meetings held every Friday at 1:00pm in the SAC board room.
